Property search
- To view our selection of available properties to let please use the Property Search boxes on the right.
- Use property search platforms Zoopla, OpenRent, SpareRoom , Rightmove.
Make sure your finances are in order
- A security deposit of a minimum of one month’s rental will normally be required and it will be held with DPS scheme, so having this money ready will make application quicker.
- Have you month rent upfront ready.
- Have your references ready as we will be requesting them, that could be Employer, previous landlord, credit report or other satisfactory references.
Employment & Income Verification
- As part of the rental application process, we will request your employment contract and 3-month payslips. If you’re self-employed, we can confirm your monthly income through your accountant. Have available: bank statements, payslips, photo identification and any other documentation that might be required. Make sure all are recent and valid.
Property viewing
- It’s a good idea to have a list of questions prepared before viewing. You want to make sure you get right information about neighbourhood, check for parking availability. If your workplace is far away, think carefully before committing to a new tenancy. At HostyLets we want to make sure you find a right place.
Inventory at the property
- The inventory records the condition of the property and its contents before you move in. It helps resolve any issues at the end of the tenancy and can affect deductions from your deposit. Inventory serves to protect both you and the landlord. So, before you move in we will provide you with inventory document, where you will have to check it and sign it.
Treat property as if it is your own
- Make your rental payments on time
- Be considered of your neighbours
- Make sure you contact us if you want make changes inside the property
- Take care of the property and contact us if there are any issues
- If you planning to move out, make sure you give us a reasonable notice
